The Merge existing connection tab allows existing connections to be added to the site. By doing so, all logical and physical components linked to the connections will be transferred to the site. During the merge process, the system will combine access levels from the site and the merged connections. This process will create new access levels and assign them to users. These merged access levels will be renamed with the prefix “Combination:” followed by the names of merged access levels. Multiple instances of “Combination” in the name is the result of multiple access level merged between each connections.
Please ensure the total count of logical components of the site and the connections merged will not reach the limit site components. (100 Groups of each [Controller, Relay, Input, Access Level], 250 Access Levels, 100 Schedules, 256 Floors, 250 Floor groups). Otherwise, components will be lost if the limit is reached during the merge.
To merge connection(s) into a site,
1 - Click the Merge existing connection tab.
2 - Select the connections to be integrated with the site.

• Add Site Name as Prefix to Component’s Name: When selected, this option add the site name as a prefix to all physical components name (controllers, doors, inputs, outputs and relays). For example, for a site named “Montreal Office”, a door named “Main Door” will become “Montreal Office, Main Door.
4 - Click OK to continue.
5 - Edit access level names from the list in both languages as needed. Click OK.
